On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the HUGs want to express in a visible way all of their enthusiasm, as well as their determination to take up its many challenges and to offer the inhabitants of the region medical services of the highest level. Changing the logo is one way to do this.

The new logo is composed of three letters HUG to create a compact and strong sign. The letters converge to symbolize the interactions between the hospitals, the university, and Geneva; between the institution, its patients and collaborators, as well as between healthcare, education and research. It has a straight and broad typography to express seriousness and robustness. It is made of green, the color of the health professions, and blue, traditionally used for services.
